108 – Yoked Blouse – tissue

The Yoked Blouse has a relaxed fit with bust fullness accommodated through gathers at the yoke. The back is a little longer than the front and has a gentle swing. Two-piece, set-in sleeves are three-quarter length with an added turn-back cuff. The blouse finishes at wrist length with a shirt tail hemline. You can make this blouse with or without the collar. The pattern’s guide sheet explains how to apply the lined yoke using a hidden seam technique from ready-to-wear.

Suggested Fabrics: Choose medium or light weight woven fabrics with a soft hand. Cotton, linen, rayon, silk, wool and blends in shirting broadcloth, challis, chambray, charmeuse, crepe, lawn, noile, oxford cloth, poplin and voile are ideal.

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with the Jeans pattern and the Yoked Blouse. I’ve received many compliments on both. In fact my friend kept asking what store I bought the jeans in and my other friend couldn’t believe I made them. They are my all time favourites.
